yoga poses (asanas) * breathing exercises (pranayama) * yoga terminology
- Learn how to practice basic yoga poses: Sun Salutations, standing, seated and balancing poses that will build your strength and confidence
- Learn how to practice safely with proper alignment and modifications for your body
- Learn basic breathing exercises that flow with your movements
- There will be time before and after yoga practice for explanations and questions.
The goal at the end of the workshop is for you to feel more confident stepping into a group yoga class and also have tools to create your own practice to take home, work or anywhere the road leads you on or off the yoga mat.
