YOGA for RUNNERS
This practice is designed for runners. Classes begin with a brisk vinyasa flow to get the heart & lungs pumping followed by a series of standing, sitting & balancing poses to build strength & increase flexibility; and breathing exercises to improve lung efficiency. Each class winds down with a guided relaxation. Studies have shown incorporating yoga to a runner’s training plan can improve strength, flexibility & mental focus to help them run more efficiently & avoid injury.
